the-library_chapter 1..._VALLEY_OF THE_WITCH...
Once upon a time, 'in the woods.' There was a cavern. A place so ‘eerie’ that not even the cats and the mice could sleep another night. Hungry wolves and stray dogs ravaged the midst of the fog that doomed the forest as we called it the woods.
Not again! I’m never going to get through this pile of work. I’m in my final year of school and every time I feel that I’ve gotten through this amount, another amount piles up. I may as well just ‘fail’ the year. When will I ever get to party and create ‘commotion’ the way all my friends do? Said ‘Damascus.’
She had, had it! No way could she cope another school year. If she failed which being as smart as she is, ‘could never ever happen’ she won’t have a hope left in life and may as well be another ‘check out chick’ in front of a cash register at a shopping mall.
There was ‘no way’ she was going to put up with that! So she had to study. She thought to herself. If only I could find some topic of interest even in one of my subjects. It may give me motivation to continue studying from there on.
Meanwhile. Her friend Shana came over. A gorgeous 'blonde, brunette.' With 'hazel' eyes and as skinny as a 'kite.' Damascus knew there was no way hell on earth that her homework was ever going to be completed now. Shana with her opening line said, ‘hey let’s go check out some guys that hang around outside the, new library that’s just opened.’ Damascus’ first reply was, ‘forget it! There is no way that is ever going to happen. Over my dead body!’
‘So be it, but we are going to the new library.’ Replied Shana. Damascus replied, ‘If we’re going to waste our time. Then we may as well go into the library, rather than hang around outside of it and maybe do a bit of research.’ Shana said, ‘fine, you do the research, I’ll check out the guys.’
Then came the rest of Shana and Damascus’ friends. They were all girls that were going to the library to check out some guys that hang around outside the new library.
It was starting to become a little late in the afternoon and they had only just thought about leaving after they had finished washing and pat-drying their hair. Then they headed off to the library. Damascus in her little heart on her way to the library made a little prayer. She said, ‘God if you’re there? Help me get through this one, once again’ and then she left hoping to find at least a bit of hope out there somewhere amongst nothingness all over again.
